TRIPPIN' IN COURT

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is way too far out of the loop. Nice city though, and I liked Winnepeg.

Always wondered what Moosejaw looked like.

For some reason, it was 95 degrees when I was in Saskatoon. The Canadian govt. has asked me not to go further north as it may cause the polar ice to melt.

The big argument on the news up in Saskatoon was whether the Canadian Government should provide free heroin at their govt. sponsored injection sites.

Also there was a lot of protesting from some that there was no place for people who smoke their drugs to go.

And they asked me if I had ever appeared in court when I entered the country. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

FIRST TWO WEEKS

I have been busy. My first two weeks at Panther I ran over 6000 miles. I got a load from Texas to Ogden, Utah. Then I took an empty move to Coupeville, Washington.

I did not actually go to Coupeville as it is on an island, and you have to take a ferry to get there. They told me we got four loads a day out of here, and no one was here. When I got here, I looked on the internet, and we only get one load a day.

There is one other van on this board, and I am number one on the board. I want to go to the Flying J south of Seattle, but there is already another van on that board, so I don't want to lose my position.

Nothing happened Monday, maybe I will get a load from here to LA tomorrow. I hope so. I haven't been on the Pacific ocean since the nineties.

Probably was a mistake to take the empty move. Even the load to Utah was probably a bad move. I could have gone the 900 miles of the empty move and come back closer to the Mississippi river haha.

The Utah load was almost 1400 miles with a .39 cent FSC, so there is a pretty good weeks pay right there. Actually it went on last weeks pay, but that is ok too.

This is the first time I have had to run my heater for a long time. It is in the forties at night here.
